“ So good! Get the cottonwood burger. Also get the chicken noodle soup. The best! The service was great and they are covid friendly. ”
“ Where's my creamy chicken noodle?! Wah!!! When it's cold (or hot!) I wanna warm up with the most delicious creamy chicken noodle to hit the town. Is this a seasonal item or what? Beer is great. Breakfast is great. Fish tacos are excellent. Nachos are eh. Salads are great. Ahi salad is excellent -order the small/regular as it's HUGE!! Oktoberfest out in the patio is a must. Beer and sunshine. What more could you ask for? ”
“ First impression: shouldn't a pub have a better beer selection? They had about seven or eight. All local, which would be great if Utah beer weren't garbage (there are a couple exceptions). I've giving the fourth star for their cocktails. My wife was beyond enamored with them. The food was pretty fantastic. I got their ahi tuna appetizer and with the accompanying sauces, the flavors were out of this world. They give you a fair amount of tuna. So much so, I didn't need an entree and couldn't manage to finish the roll. My wife loved her cream of mushroom soup and tuna salad sandwich (I swear this thing was the size of my face). Overall, I would come back, just not for their beer. ”
“ I had not been to this new location and love what they have done to the space. It feels fresh and lively (and loud). The parking is a bit of an issue on the weekends but to their credit they have people out helping direct you to the Key Bank parking lot after 6pm and on the weekends. The food was amazing and the service was good. I had the fish special, which was coconut crusted salmon over coconut milk flavored rice with mango chutney and veggies. So delicious!! The only thing I wish is that they had a hamburger on the kids menu, which is what my daughter really wanted. ”
“ This was my 3rd or 4th time to this location. I've always had a good experience but this time was especially so. The waisted was well mannered and landed a few good jokes. I had the fish and chips. Or as they should call it Fish on a mountain of chips. I rarely leave a fry on the plate at any place...and I maybe got through half the fries. The fish was perfectly seasoned and battered and came off tasting light. The portion of fish was perfect. The services has always been great here and they're good to ask about refills etc later in the meal, which I appreciate since I usually try to moderate my soda intake and switch to water after one refill. So it's a great chance to switch over when they ask. There are few restaurants who have this great of a dining area. Very open, airy and well designed. ”
“ The food and ambiance at Porcupine has always been good, but we hadn't been for a long time because the service was just okay a few years ago. This visit really won us over - the restaurant interior has been updated and is so bright and clean, the food was delicious and the coffee refills plentiful, but the real reason we'll be back was the impeccable service. The manager and his staff went above and beyond to rectify a minor mistake in one of our food orders. One of our party is vegan and ordered a pizza with no cheese, which is definitely out of the ordinary, but it arrived standard with cheese. The server sincerely apologized and immediately returned it to the kitchen so there wouldn't be any further delay, and the new pizza arrived shortly afterward and was perfect. Not only did the server check back again, but the manager even stopped by and informed us that he would comp that meal for their mistake. Totally not necessary but they were so thoughtful and did it anyway. Before that, we already were enjoying the food and service. The French Dip sandwich was good. The kid meals were enjoyed and had generous portions. The server didn't flinch when a pizza was ordered with no cheese (ha!) and had a great attitude and we really enjoyed our visit. We'll be back! ”
“ I've eating at the other location multiple times near the base of cottonwood canyon and have loved it every single time. I noticed this location as I passed it the other day driving through town and I saw that they served brunch so I thought I'd give it a shot. I love the ambiance of Porcupine as it's got such a warm, cabin feel to it. The breakfast offered is your typical american brunch. The portion sizes are good sized and the prices for places range from $10-15 dollars which seems very affordable for what you get. They've got everything as far as breakfast goes- french toast, omelettes, breakfast burritos, etc. This would be a great place to take the family or a group of friends as there are great options for everyone. ”
“ I love their specials. I always get a high quality meal with a lot of great taste. Their chicken noodle is the best chicken noodle soup I've ever had! ”
“ I went to their Cottonwood Heights branch few times for breakfast, but it was my first time to this location. Went there for lunch with a few of my friends. From outside the place didn't look very big, but I was surprised when went in. It was specious and had lots of natural lights. The staffs were very friendly & attentive. Our server (sorry forgot her name) was checking on us every couple of minutes & always had a smile on her face. We ordered the Chicken Nacho as appetizer, and I had the Poblano Steak pasta...both were good. Finding a parking spot was a pain though, but I it's so conveniently located near the U...the students/teachers/staffs/guests can just walk or use the shuttle to go there. ”
“ I have been to the location in Cottonwoods multiple times but last night was the first time I had been to the 1300e location. It's a perfect location for the U to have quality bar and grille so close to campus. Place was packed when we walked in but we didn't have to wait for a table!! I really like the wood paneling and lofted ceilings and the overall industrial feel of the place. Dylan was our server and he was awesome. Friendly and knowledgeable and kept checking in with us to make sure we enjoyed our dining experience. We ordered the pierogies to start, the hubby ordered the tequila lime chicken pasta, and I got the veggie burger with salad. The pierogies were bigger than I expected but they were scrumptious. Super crispy shell and cheesy potato filling. It was served with a ramekin of sour cream and what I think was some sort of pickled sauerkraut. A little of each on the top just compounded the flavor of the pierogies. The pasta came out piping hot and it was a massive portion. It was spicy and packed with flavor. He had to take half home it was so large of a portion. My veggie burger was so good. I have never had one at a restaurant that had these toppings on it and it was such a great combo of flavors. Roasted bell peppers, tomato, spinach, feta and hummus. I devoured every bite. The salad was a bit underwhelming with just lettuce and a few mandarin oranges but it was still refreshing. Space was really loud with the echoes of everyone talking but we were still able to talk to each other at our table. Place was clean, food and service were great! Love that it's so much closer to us than the other location so we will definitely be back. ”
